Family wedding ceremony is definitely the wedding in presence of the family. But there are two meanings of it. The happiest day of the life of bride and groom can not be fully enjoyed without the family.
First at the conventional wedding ceremony the parents of the both bride and groom with all close relatives is the perfect family wedding ceremony. Another definition of the family wedding ceremony is that if bride and groom have the children from the previous marriages then wedding in presence of the children.
Sometime bride and groom exchange the vows without parents in case of interfaith weddings. So here weddings are without family. But generally weddings are performed in presence of family only.
Presence of the Children in the Wedding Ceremony In case of the bride or groom having the children from the previous marriage then children also take part in the every function of the wedding. It is the fun that children taking part in the wedding of their parents.

The Traditional Family Wedding Ceremony The wedding invitation cards are sent by the name of the parents mostly. Then parents and family along with the bride and groom decides every details of the wedding starting from the venue to food and from dress to decoration.
Family receives the guests at the wedding place and guides them through the wedding process. Father takes the bride up to the stage is the old tradition. At some places, the mother of bride walks with the groom from home to wedding altar.
